Selma Kettwich

I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico where I grew up on a farm.  I was on a horse before I could even walk and competed in Half-Arabian Junior horse shows until college.  My family farm had at least 40 horses, 10 dogs, 4 cats and other misc. critters like rabbits, turtles, fish, iguanas, various types of birds—oh, and 4 kids.  Every day was a new adventure on the farm, an excuse to learn something new.  As the kids left home for college, my mom consistently “replaced” us with furry friends such as Porky, the pug that took over my bed.  Now I attend the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma where I’m double majoring in English and Spanish. I also play varsity volleyball and recently studied abroad for a semester in Chile.  I love college and Washington, but I am seriously pet deprived and have a lot of energy and care to share with your pets!
