I’m Stephanie Joseph.  I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember.  I started early, obsessed with horses.  My Christmas present from Santa when I was 6 years old was horse back riding lessons.   From that moment on I was hooked on horses.  I spent every waking moment not in school at the stables with my mom, brother and sister.  At the time we lived in San Diego, CA and we rode American Saddlebreds.   After a year of riding the owners of the stables came to all of us little kids and said “please exercise all the ponies for the pony ring”…so we had our first job…exercising all these stubborn little ponies.  That year my parents surprised me and bought me one of the ponies, Sugar.   Soon after that we got a mutt named Ike and I got a black cat I named Domingo.  Since that time I’ve never been without a pet.  My family moved us to Gig Harbor when I was 11 and we converted over to hunt/jump and I competed a few times.  My mom also got into breeding and showing long haired standard dachshunds.  I was so excited each time we had a litter of puppies!

 Now, my husband and I have 3 cats, 1 puppy, 2 ducks and a 3 yr old daughter.  I’m so excited to be working with Sara and Spoiled Rotten Pet Sitting.  I found Sara by being a customer first.  I had to take a job right when we got our puppy Ally, that required me to be gone 12 hours 2 days a week.  I was so worried about what to do with Ally.  I found Sara and it has taken the stress off me.  I know that on my long days that Ally is well cared for.  I come home and don’t have to worry that she’s been in her kennel all day.  I want to be able to provide the comfort to others that I receive, that their pets will be taken care of while they are gone.
