My name is Melissa! I love animals and I am really excited to get the chance to work with them. I grew up in Washington and I am very familiar with the Pierce County area. I grew up with a black lab, and I have had a couple of cats. I also have had seven hamsters at once!! I love all kinds of animals, from little mice to large horses! I currently own a cat named Trixy and a very energetic puppy named Jazmine (lab/mastiff mix). All of the animals I have owned have been adopted from the shelter because I feel that those animals deserve a chance too. I have volunteered at the Humane Society and I loved it!! I am currently a student athlete at Pierce College. I play softball and my goal is to one day become a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ultra sound). All animals deserve love and care so I am here to get that done!
