Hello my name is Britnay, and I cannot remember a time in my life that I did not have some sort of pet. I have grown up with mostly dogs but I have owned birds, "pocket-pets", cats, fishies, bunnies, and younger siblings. :-) Currently I own four dogs and a kittie. Molly (aussie-blue heeler), Precious (collie-mix), Lexi (Pit-Bull Terrier), Rhona (Pit-Bull Terrier), and Tiger (DSH). I was born in Fort Polk, Louisiana but mainly raised in Bremerton, Washington. My Favorite animal would have to be horses, what girl doesn't love horses, and bully breeds (They Love you the MOST!). I am currently getting set up to go to school to start my Veterinarian career in the Fall 2010. I have always wanted to be and always will want to be a vet. I love being an advocate for my four legged friends who can't speak for themselves. Currently I am working as a vet tech in a local vet clinic. My favorite things are either surgeries or "sick pets" because they need my help the most. I love to see the story play out, they come in needing my help and we get them the life saving treatment they need, and then they come back later happy and healthy. My most memorable story would be the puppy who had the deadly parvo-virus at 7 weeks old. He came in and if it weren't for me and my co-workers this poor little man would have lost his life before he could even start it. If it weren't for us he wouldn't have been able to come back in to make us smile. He has become a happy healthy little man and I am so proud of him for pulling through and so glad we believed in him; believed that he could pull through and to not give up. I look forward to making new stories and sharing them with you!
