Whisker City is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill cat rescue shelter in Seattle, Wa. Help us raise money for our shelter by attending our Sacred Cat Ball dinner auction being held on April 18th, 2009 at the Lynnwood Convention Center. Hogs For Paws Poker Run 4/25/09
In combination with downtown Harley-Davidson's grand opening, I am organizing a poker run to benefit the Kent animal shelter on April 25th 2009. A poker run is an event where people pay a fee to play a hand of poker, and draw a card in 5 different locations. There will be prizes available to the participants, and all proceeds will go directly to the Kent animal shelter. $20 entry fee gets you one poker sheet and $10 for any additional poker sheet. One door prize ticket will be distributed with each poker sheet bought. Register at 8:30am at downtown Harley-Davidson, 3715 East Valley Road, Renton, WA. With first bike out at 9am and last bike out by 10am and last bike in by 12pm noon. 1st place prize is a custom built motorcycle seat by Rich's Custom Seats valued at $550. 2nd place prize is a $350 downtown Harley-Davidson gift certificate. 3rd place prize is a 100th anniversary train set valued at $150. Lowest hand prize is a Harley-Davidson bedspread valued at $100. There will be food, live music, door prizes, 50/50 tickets for $1.00 each. Ride your bike or drive your car. Prizes will be awarded in the afternoon. Need not be present to win the poker run, but will need to be present to win any door prizes and the 50/50 ticket drawing.
